Company Description
Our expectation is that at the completion of this internship this individual will have gained a good working knowledge on business road maps, business planning and financial analysis reporting. and have the basis to elaborate, present and sustain a Marketing and alternative commercial strategy to potential customers entering into a foreign market. This person will be exposed to numerous US subsidiaries managed by our organization, each with their own individual product line. This is a unique position because of the exposure they will receive on a variety of different product lines and how each is imported into the US.
Internship Duties
Under supervision of Management staff and as part of a team, this candidate will assist with market analysis of Italian companies looking to expand in the US market.
Studies will be focused on the definition of distribution circuits, market habits and segmentation at different market levels.
The focus will be on companies working in areas of durable goods, mechanical and technical components, and investment goods/machinery.
This individual will support the preparation of detailed reports presented to client's Board of Directors. Reports will include business road maps, market approach/strategies with a financial feasibility status and cash flow projection.
Work with a variety of social media tools for business development.
Qualifications
Knowledge of durable/investment goods Marketing
Strong Verbal & Written Skills Proficient in Social Media Tools and ECommerce
Degree in Administration or Economics preferable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Social Media Tools
Project Management a plus
E?Commerce knowledge
Interpersonal Skills:
Responsible, Mature Minded and ability to work independently in a team environment.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
